Now in its seventh year, the Great Lakes Lacrosse Invitational is a youth lacrosse tournament that caters to both boys and girls.

The tournament attracts school and club teams from across the Midwest in the grade 5/6 though High School age groups. Three levels of competition are offered depending on the experience and talent level of each applicant.

All games take place at one location, the Kalamazoo Soccer Complex, which is located about half way between Detroit and Chicago, and within a six hour drive of just about every other major Midwest city.

Teams play full length games on full-sized fields all day Saturday and up to midday on Sunday. Championship games for those brackets that require them take place on Sunday afternoon.

Places to Stay in the Area

This is a "stay to play" tournament, which means that visiting teams are required to stay in hotels that are approved by the tournament organizers as a condition of participation. This may require merely booking rooms at one of the designated hotels, or it may require booking them specifically through the tournament's own designated housing service.
